They charge a high monthly fee, and there are no guarantees of anything happening. 

Many people keep paying and keep getting nothing.  It's frustrating.

I set a Guinness Record for publicity 10 years ago (and still hold it.) People asked me for years to get into the PR business, but I said no. I didn't like the idea of taking people's money and sometimes getting zero results for them.
